So I feel like I'm always on a constant search for the perfect lipgloss. I mean the story normally goes a little something like this...
While finishing up my makeup I'll sift through my jar of lipgloss and try on a million different ones on top of my lipstick, just to find that I hate them all. So at some point during the day I go to Sephora or MAC and pick up another one that I think I love....flash forward a week or so and I'm back at square one sifting through glosses and hating them all!
DO YOU KNOW HOW FRUSTRATING THAT IS!? I feel like whenever I buy a lipgloss I get this instant excitement because I finally think I found "the one" but I'm always wrong! And I mean lipgloss isn't cheap to be buying one after the other that your not even going to use after next week.
HOWEVER
All that came to a halt when I came across the holy grail of lipgloss!
When I tell you ladies that the Almay liquid care lip balm is the truth....chile please!!
Now Almay markets this as a "lip balm" but make no mistake it is a full blown gloss. I does however treat and hydrate your lips like a balm would so its kind of like getting a two for one deal. The hydration and comfort of a lip balm with the shine and flirty look of a gloss.
And yes that's right I said ALMAY the brand you speed right on past every time you're in your local CVS and Walgreens as you run to the Cover Girl Section.
Of course I came across Almay by couponing. I swear it's the best way to test out brands you haven't tried for super cheap. Last month there was a great deal at Walgreens on Almay there was a 2/1 Walgreens coupon and a 5/2 manufacture coupon which brought the price of 2 from almost 12.00 to 3.00 that's 1.50 a gloss!! So you know I stocked up =)
Even though that was going to be the first time trying it I couldn't pass up lip gloss for 1.50 a tube especially with my obsession. As soon as I got in the car I popped open the sheer gloss called "nudetrients" put it on and looked in the mirror.

From the first look I was sold, I knew this was it for me and a month later it's still it! All of the Almay lip gloss I have tried are super smooth and long lasting!
Unlike other glosses they're not annoyingly sticky and gouty and they give a great amount of shine without leaving you looking as if you just finished a bucket of KFC LOL.

One of the biggest positives I found from using these glosses all day ever day was that it never gives you that hidious white line along your lips that most glosses leave after its been on for a while or if you have been talking too much lol. Instead of the build up, this gloss actually just slowly fades away over the day. Once it does fade away your lips feel super smooth and conditioned, I actually couldn't believe it the first couple of time I used it. After getting over the initial shock of smooth lips lol your free to re-apply right on top of your lipstick or own its own.

So no more worrying about multiple mirror checks to see if that pesky white line has appeared or trying to lick off in mid convo and there will be defiantly no need to take your lipstick and lipgloss completely just to re-apply =)

Now the biggest positive I had to save for last.....
and thats....
THIS LIP GLOSS SMELLS AMAZING.

Like really...most lip glosses to me smell like crap but this one smells like some sort of desert!
Every time I open it or put it on I catch my self just sitting there sniffing it LOL because it really smells that good!

The gloss comes in 10 different shades I believe, the pigments of each individual gloss very. Some are a little more sheer than others but you always get just the right amount of color to either wear it alone or over a lipstick.
Did I forget to mention that this Lip gloss is perfect for the Pretty Girl on a budget? It's retail cost is cheaper than most drugstore lipgloss probably because its highly underrated. But don't let the price fool you the quality is top notch! Also because its not super popular there stores often run deals on Almay products and its easy to find high value coupons for it :)

Honestly ladies don't sleep on the Almay Liquid Lip Balm, with its lip conditioning abilities, high shine and pigment quality I would defiantly put this on the level of big name glosses sold in Seporah and MAC. High quality and low cost will always be my best friend this gloss is surly a steal!
Any lipgloss lover or anyone searching for the perfect go to gloss should defiantly check out Almay the next time your in your local Walgreens or CVS its sooooo worth it! Trust me you won't be disappointed.
